When this Tragic disaster happened I was in 3rd grade and in school and I lived in Plainview at the time. What I would do to commemorate the number of people who lost their lives is put flags up everywhere so they would remind people about the disaster. I don't think the U.S. is safe from terrorism but all the stuff they did to prevent terrorism I think has helped.The feeling I remember having was normal cause I did not know what was going on cause I was maybe 8 years old and didn't know what the big deal was.
